A brief description of our history.
Maquinaria Grau
It is a family business that has been dedicated to agriculture and gardening services for 100 years.
The company was founded in 1907 under the name of Grau Hermanos who, at that time, were dedicated to working with the furnace. A few years later the company was renamed Juan Grau, where they continued to work with the furnace and introduced the manufacture of marine engines, which were known as Eixut engines. In 1946 the company took the name Taller Mecánico Bernardino Grau, and it was in 1955 when the company was divided into two parts, taking the name Viuda de Juan Grau. It was at this time that sprinkling began to be introduced.
In 1975, the store opened where you could find all kinds of materials for agriculture.
Finally, in 1980, the company took the name of Maquinària Grau, which is recognized in many places in Mallorca under the name of Can Eixut.

FOUNDED 1907
The company, founded by the six Grau brothers in 1907, under the name Grau Germans, began as a blacksmith workshop building and repairing in its forges, anvils and hammers, the tools and tools used for, in those days, hard work in the rural fields. From the workshop came tools for the village as rudimentary as the hoe, the scythe, the scythe or the plough, among others.
INDUSTRIALIZATION
The people in charge of Ca Eixut gradually adapted to the new technologies that were imposed with the industrialization of the agricultural sector, such as hydraulic pumps, mills, gasoline and lean gas engines, for the extraction of water from artisanal wells that were drilled in the village marshes.
JUAN GRAU'S WIDOW
In 1955, the company was split into two parts. One took the name of Bernardino Grau Mechanical Workshop, while the other became known as Vidua de Juan Grau, at the head of which were the widow's brothers, Pau and Joan; over the years, he observed the most powerful expansion, catching up on the knowledge and application of the new technologies demanded by agricultural operations, as well as in the sector of household appliances, gardening and others.
MAQUINARIA GRAU
Pablo Grau Coll (sa Pobla 1927) became the penultimate link in a chain which, after his retirement, was joined as successors by his son Joan and his nephew Juan Pablo, current helmsmen of the Ca Eixut industrial ship, which has been called Maquinària Grau since 1980.
